Cultural anthropology is the study of human cultures, societies, and behaviors. It seeks to understand the ways in which people in different societies live, think, and interact with one another. Cultural anthropologists often engage in fieldwork, immersing themselves in a particular cultural group to better understand their customs, traditions, beliefs, and practices. They may also study things such as language, art, religion, social structures, and economic systems in order to gain insights into how humans organize and make sense of their world. Cultural anthropology also explores issues of power, inequality, and social change within and between different cultural groups.
